Odysseus

The earth痴 a tease:
as she warms
to spring,
she reveals her
swollen breast,
then softly moans
until I知 blinded
by my need.

I give her everything.

She is pleased,
but not serene:
she urges me
on with her
scented breath
and naked limbs.

For weeks on end,
I ride her to the stars
and back again.

When she ripens,
I am one year older:
stronger, ever mad.
