Collected Poems
After adding a new poem to the site every month for over two years, I have finally gotten around to providing an official poetry link on each page. Prior to that, the only way to enter this “hidden section” was by a link on the Main Page or a relevant search on the Internet. As regular visitors know, I am not usually this disorganized. When I posted the first poem, I thought that would be the end of it. When I posted the second poem, I did so because quite a few people liked the first poem. A few poems and several thousand visits later, it seemed a shame to stop. So here I am, finally doing what I should have done back then. On this page, you will find links to all the poems. The poetry pages have been linked to each other from the beginning. That hasn’t changed, so once you’ve clicked on one of the links below, you can still go from poem to poem without having to come back. All but a couple of the poems begin with a very short introduction, so I won’t bore you with another one here. All but a handful are relatively short. Most actually make sense. Those that don’t sound good anyway. This might seem unsophisticated, but the truth is, most of us have read enough poetry to know that if a poem doesn’t sound good, or have some sort of internal rhythm, it doesn’t matter if it makes sense or not. We simply move on to other things. The links are presented in their original order. New links will be added at the bottom. I hope you enjoy the poems.
